From Purola buses and taxis are available to Sankri. Here onwards you can hire jeep towards Takula for avoiding the 12 kms trek. The trekking route to Har Ki Dun ascends from the town of Takula.
By Train: The nearest railway to the beautiful town of Sankri is Dehradun railway station, which can be situated 215 kms away from the town. Sankri gets well linked with major Garhwal destinations.
By Air: The nearest airport to Sankri village is the Jolly Grant Airport at Dehradun which is 230 kms away from the town. One can easily get taxis from Jolly Grant Airport to Mori and Purola.
